Transit Depot Fine Art Festival in Monterey
The Transit Depot Fine Art Festival in Monterey will be held at Fisherman’s Wharf on July 28-29, 2018, our 6th year, during the height of the tourist season. The Transit Depot is in a highly desirable area, with lots of drive by traffic, and tons of parking available.
The Transit Depot Fine Art Festival will feature numerous artists, whose original work in 2 and 3 dimensional fine art and may include acrylic, oils and watercolors paintings, photography; ceramics; glass, stone and metal sculptures; wood and clay. Also available will be a selection of fine crafts. Each artist will be available to meet with the public to discuss their work, which is available for purchase.
To the right is one of our artists, goes by the name of Peli Can. He mainly does splatter paintings, on various mediums - clothes and cars are his favorite. And because he is such a giver, all of his work is free!
The Festival will be located at the Transit Depot parking lot, at 451 Del Monte Avenue and Figueroa Street. Festival patrons will also be able to visit The Wharf Marketplace, a great place fresh produce, breakfast, lunch or dinner as well as fine wine and beer. Also, there are many retail shops and fine restaurants The Wharf Marketplace logoat Fisherman’s Wharf. The hours of the event are from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
